Making It Your Own

The Kimble’s Catering team had the honor and privilege of helping Dean & Nancy Larson celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary at Del’avant this week. It was such an honor to have the opportunity to help them customize their special occasion! From the food and tables down to the cake and favors, every detail was completely personalized to commemorate the monumental occasion at hand.

Some of our favorite details include:

  • The food (obviously): Mr. & Mrs. Larson personally crafted their menu for the evening, selecting each individual served dish.

  • The cake table: believe it or not, Kimble’s replicated the Larsons’ original cake table from their wedding. Our team was given a picture from their wedding day, 70 years ago, which we used to create a nearly identical reconstruction.

  • The signage: the table markers, menu cards and favor tags were designed and created for this event by the Kimble’s Catering team. Each detail of these items was meticulously designed to ensure overall cohesion with one another to create a one-of-a-kind look and feel.

  • The Hershey Kiss favors: the Kimble’s Catering team is a sucker for the details, and these favor boxes show it. Each box was filled with seven Hershey Kisses, one for each of the seven decades of marriage shared by Mr. and Mrs. Larson. Once the boxes were full, they were finished off with an elegant ribbon and custom ‘Thank You’ tag.
